STEVE STAPLER

Tradition still lives!

Traditional country music lives in Steve Stapler as a unique singer-songwriter. As an artist he has no problem in writing his own material and performing it very well. His original songs have been recorded by John Michael Montgomery, Chad Brock, and Ronnie Milsap.

Having been signed by four Nashville music publishing companies: Mike O'Rear Publishing, Tom Collins Music, EMI Music Publishing Co., and Ann Wilson Music Inc., Steve has certainly proven himself in the field of Country Music.

Stapler has come a long way from beginning his singing career in church at age 9 to appearing on stage with Garth Brooks, Rodney Crowell, Aaron Tippin, Darren Norwood and Confederate Railroad.

His early traditional influences were Merle Haggard, Keith Whitley, George Jones, Waylon Jennings, and Tom T. Hall. Others include James Taylor, the Eagles, and Kenny Hinson.

Stapler hs performed in various Nashville-based touring bands, as well as the "Stapler Singers", a family Gospel band. However, he says "The highlight of my career was playin' bass with M.C. Potts on the Grand Ole Opry!"

Steve has since relocated to the Chicagoland area. He and his "Psychobilly band", consisting of some of Chicago's top musicians, have made a big impression on the Midwest, headlining area festivals, performing for thousands of Country Music fans.
